About

Growing up in a small town is something special.  Walking to the grocery to pick up a pint of ice cream on a hot summer’s day, crossing the street to attend school, knowing everyone in your school and pretty much the whole town (because your parents or grandparents taught them, coached them, etc.).  Needless to say, as special as it was, once I left, I wasn’t interested in going back.

Fast forward to college years, I attended LSU and loved it.  I double majored in Apparel Design and Marketing.  Though I never expected to use the Apparel Design degree, it gave me a creative outlet in college.  I met my now husband and once graduated, moved to his hometown of New Orleans, La.

As many New Orleanian stories go, along came Katrina and off to Houston we went for a few years.  Bought our first house there, started our first business there and had our first son there. Four years later, back to New Orleans.  Sold our first house, bought our second house, started our second business, had our second son.

Now here I am, one husband, two businesses and three sons in (see what I did there:)), trying every day to keep everything afloat and sometimes wishing for that small town life I left so long ago.  Since I have so much time on my hands, I figured why not start a blog.  I hope to share advice on daily planning, home life and business life of a crazy Mompreneur!  I hope you enjoy!
